Bill Segin married Violet
Feica on January 24, 1932 in Boian, Alberta, Canada. They had three
children: Daniel, born August 14, 1932, in Hairy Hill,
Alberta; Charlie, born July 4, 1935, in Hairy Hill; and
Patrick, who was born in April of 1946 in Edmonton. To the
right is picture of Aunt Violet in Edmonton in the
1990s.
This is from a book on the pioneers in the Boian, Alberta
area. Aunt Violet is second from the left in traditional Romanian
garb.
Danny, the oldest son, had a
lifelong career in the Canadian military that began when he was in
his teens. He was a paratrooper and was involved in many United
Nation's operations. He and his wife Elaine had three children;
Shelley, Darcy and Dana. Pictured below in Dan in his military garb.
The picture to the right is Dan Segin on the Feica farm in Boian,
Alberta with his cousin Carole in 1942

Pictured above is Charlie Segin in a
recent photo at the home of his daughter, Kelli, in
British Columbia. Charlie was a lifelong resident
of Edmonton until about 5 or 6 years ago.
Now, introducing the newest addition to
the Segin branch of the family, Meghan Elaine
Goodfellow. She was born Oct. 1, 2001 and is the
daughter of Michael and Sabrina (Segin) Goodfellow. She
is the great granddaughter of Dan Segin, the
granddaughter of Shelley (Segin) Singh.
